The BSE Sensex opened lower, as investor confidence across Asia was subdued following a decline on Wall Street overnight and ahead of a key U.S. jobs report.
The BSE benchmark Sensex fell 0.5 pct in early trade on Friday, tracking lower Asian peers.
The rupee fell for a second consecutive session on Friday as lower Asian stocks and currencies hurt sentiment for the local unit
